How do you use AutoShare?

"Buying a house is a lot of work. It seems like every weekend there is another project to work on or another trip to Home Depot that needs to be made. We became members of AutoShare shortly after buying a house in East York last January. We both ride our bikes and take the TTC, but we knew that there would be plenty of times when we'd need a car. Owning a vehicle just doesn't make financial sense, which is why AutoShare works so well for us.

We like AuthoShare because it's an affordable and convenient alternative to owning a car. There are enough locations in our area that there is always a car available, even at the last minute. We also like that there is variety in the fleet, so if we need a pickup truck or a cargo van for a bigger job, we have that option."

AutoShare friend and best-selling author/photographer, Ian Coristine, has published a ground breaking new ebook for the iPad, tracing his remarkable journey as a formula race car driver in his early years, then a pilot and entrepreneur, and finally, as a resident/owner of Raleigh Island in the Thousand Islands. Through the process of restoring the abandoned hundred-year old cottage, Ian reinvented his life. The "Read Once Message" will be displayed for things such as, major road closures and vehicle relocations. You will need to acknowledge that you have read the message with a simple click.

1.5¢ Gas Surcharge due to higher gas prices

Gas prices in April averaged $1.34/litre (our base rate is $1.20). All driving in April will be billed with a 1.5¢ gas surcharge per km. We continue to believe that a "floating gas price" is the best and fairest way to deliver our service.
